weekend cruises, a big TGIF Raft-Up at Duck Island, plus a 2 week summer cruise to ports

6/26/18 - Mattituck
Strawberry Festival Cruise:
It was a great weekend. We had 3 boats anchored.
Problem (take note) – the dingy dock and ramp at the public park
were not there?
However Terry the office manager at Strongs Marina was very helpful.
She rented us dingy space for a very nominal cost which included
So we ferried folks to and from the dingy dock to get ashore for the
Strawberry Festival and dinner at the Penny Lane Restaurant. Uber
worked to the Fair Grounds and a short walk to dinner.
Labor Day Cruise to Mystic Seaport Museum:
The Dock Office expects us.
So far we have eight boats signed up.
Call them and make your reservations.
Plans are being worked on. Saturday evening cocktail party on
Bertram Dock (near Brilliant) BYOB & Appetizer to share. Sunday
morning brunch at Latitudes. Sunday night dinner downtown.
There is a Viking Exhibit this year which is supposed to be quite

Harbor & Fireworks Cruise, July 14-15, and the two
Raft Up TGIFs at Duck Island,
July 20 and August 17.
6/4/18 - DIYC LABOR
Reservations have been made with the Mystic Seaport
Museum Dock Office for DIYC vessels Saturday, September 1st and
Sunday, September 2nd.
Our 3 motor vessels will be on the Bertram Dock as usual. There are
3 spaces at the North Dock and more on the South Docks. Please
confirm your spot by calling the Dock Office at 860-572-5391 asap!

5/31/18 - Duckies are
cruising to the Annual Strawberry Festival in Mattituck on June
16-18. Joan and Joel Marcus are the hosts, and have
made arrangements for a dinner out on Friday night. Several boats
have signed up already, and dinner reservations are limited to 12.

5/25/18 - 4th of July Cruise
to BI - Burke
Schlott has volunteered to host the cruise, and he wants to get an
idea of who might be going, and more importantly, when, as the 4th
falls on a Wednesday. He will be there from the Friday before (June
29), and would like an idea of 1) who is planning on going, and 2)
what days they would be available to attend various functions.

"TBDs" for Cruise Leaders or gray fonts signifying last
